The Coroners’ Court Support Service Telephone Line

The Coroners’ Court Support Service has launched a Telephone Support Service that people can be referred to or self refer to.

If family or witnesses are due to attend an inquest in Truro either online or in person then they can be referred either by calling our helpline, email or the online form on our website.

The Helpline will be in contact with them and then a local volunteer who would usually support families and witnesses at court will make contact to support them emotionally and practically.

People may find they have questions or anxieties about attending an inquest and would like to ask questions they don’t want to bother the Coroners’ court with but our volunteers can answer the questions they may have or signpost them to someone who can answer the questions.

To recieve a call from a Local CCSS Volunteer fill in the referral Form https://coronerscourtssupportservice.org.uk/for-practitioners/

Alternatively email helpline@ccss.org.uk or call us on 0300 111 2141 with details of who you would like us to contact.
