Forget You Not Bereavement Cafe in Liskeard
A series of 6 Forget-You-Not bereavement cafés will be held at St Martin’s Lower Church Hall, Liskeard 1-2.30 pm Tuesdays, Feb 7th,14th,21st,28th and March 6th,13th 2023.
Each café consists of a very short talk on an aspect of death-related grief, a pen and paper activity related to the talk and then plenty of time to just chat with other bereaved people. Free drink and biscuit. The course offers 5 x weekly sessions for bereaved adults with an optional 6th session.
The hope is that the course will enable attendees to take some steps towards processing their grief and begin to envisage a positive, albeit different, future. Apart from a short closing prayer, there is no specifically Christian content/discussion in these sessions.
